Vote for the Democrat

Vote For The Democrat was a small side project from me. I made several thousand stickers in advance of the 2018 midterms, and in January 2019 designed the site as a portal for general positivity about all the Democrats running in 2020. We won that one, and in 2024 I revived it to gas up Joe, the Democrats running for Senate and eventually Kamala too.

The stickers themselves were 5½" × 2⅛" in size, printed on high quality white vinyl by the fine folks at Sticker Guy.

They were ideally sized to stick on your truck, to leave in a coffee shop, or to put on that one wall in that one restroom that’s covered floor to ceiling in stickers. They were also priced cheaply enough that after doing all that, you’d probably have some leftover to give your friends and family.

Over the years I either sold or gave away the majority of them, and was floored to have run into people who I’d never met that had them on their car or water bottle; one person I met said he’d gotten it as part of a gift exchange, to which I say: I’m so sorry.

Anyway, in 2024, things didn’t go so well, and I wound the site down with the message you see there today. The bad thing happened. The insurrectionists got pardons. The remaining stickers are collecting dust on a shelf.

You should probably still vote for the Democrat. I’m just not going to be the one to tell you to do it.
